Hey Sphr, very neat work. Have you looked at exporting these to any other format? I can see several uses. Firstly, they could be used with sinoth's 3D Visuliser, and secondly, they could be rendered as isometric tiles for display in a forthcoming version of my map viewer. Etiher way, this is useful work you are doing- so long as you are willing, and we are able, to find away to bring your models into the viewers. --Markavian
- Hmm... I've sort of forgotten about these for a while... lol. They are sketchup files, so I guess they can be exported to anything sketchup can support. A particularly open format is colladae (kml/kmz). The models I've put together hastily are really meant for modeling simple architectural designs (which I haven't got back to doing, after getting distracted by memory hacking, util-making, then gfx tile sets...), so they may need to be reo-ptimized for real-time use like what sinoth is doing (Some of the objects may be too complex). I've no problem with people using the sketchup stuff I've put together so far for anything. If there's demand, I think I can get around to creating the tiles that are still not done (which is originally what I wanted to do... just haven't muster the motivation to do it). Just tell me what you guys need. -- Sphr 12:54, 5 January 2008 (EST)
