Pearlash is baked from potash at a kiln or magma kiln by a dwarf with the furnace operator labor enabled. Pearlash has a value of 20 and has no quality modifiers. Its sole use is in the manufacture of higher-quality types of glass and glass items.
Pearlash comes in bars, stored in a bar stockpile and viewable in the stocks screen under "bars". It is also a fire-safe material, and can therefore be used where that is needed or desired.
