Does this information really belong here on the DF wiki? I get that they're the publisher for the Premium version, but their back catalog (and upcoming releases) have nothing to do with DF and should probably be replaced with a hyperlink to their page on Wikipedia or something. --Quietust (talk) 13:31, 2 November 2024 (UTC)

When I first heard Kitfox was becoming publisher, I wanted to see who they were, and what they've done before. Having the prices looks weird on a wiki article, but I think Kitfox's other games is something of interest to Dwarf Fortress players. The information on their other games is scattered, requiring users to check multiple sites and do Internet searches to find them all, so it's convenient having them all listed here in one place. We also have an article for Bay 12 Games that lists their other games. I would be interested in reading more about Kitfox like how they got started publishing games, especially in an era when anyone can self publish, and also in the hirings of other employees like Putnam, Mayday, and the artists and musicians. Kitfox's portfolio is not really relevant to Dwarf Fortress. It's information that should be on their Wikipedia page, not here - it doesn't seem relevant to maintain that information here, especially in a detailed table like that. An article on Kitfox on the DF wiki should ideally explain the parts that are relevant to DF development, and link to the relevant social pages.
