Dwarf cancels construct "Rock object": Needs non-economic rock
Revision as of 20:42, 23 April 2010 by 70.111.210.233 (talk) (This would've saved me a lot of time.)
This error message occurs when a dwarf attempts to make a rock object but there are no rocks available. Mine out rock to obtain stone.
You can also get this error when a dwarf walls himself into a corner and is unable to leave to get more rocks. Be careful where you build your masonry, some parts of it obstruct movement.
Sometimes the only rocks available are economic rocks. By default these types of rock are forbidden for general use. You can change this under the stocks menu.
TIP: If you are mining and no rocks are dropping, you may need to dig deeper.
