The animal training labor enables a dwarf to work at a kennel to tame small and large creatures and to train dogs (or any other creatures modded to be trainable) for war or hunting. It also permits a dwarf to transfer a hostile creature (such as a captured goblin, or just a wild animal) to a cage or chain.
