==Setup==

To get it up and running quickly, unpack the zip file and copy the dfterm_injection_glue.dll file to your dfort directory. Run dwarfort.exe and then run dfterm.exe. Dfterm will detect your running dfort and hook up. You should be ready to go.

==Client Programs==

Connect to dfterm via any terminal emulator. A popular one for windows is [http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html Putty]. You will have to change some settings.

==Known Problems==

* Some text is way too dark

** In Putty go into the window > colors menu and change the values for ANSI black bold to higher numbers. 120-120-120 looks alright.

* The numpad +/- buttons don't work

** You can [[Laptop_keyboard|remap them]].

* Shift+arrows and Shift+enter don't work.

* There is no authentication.

** This will be addressed in a future release.
