Mods

Martial Arts+

The Martial Arts mod started out as a simple (though large) attempt to improve the natural attacks of existing creatures in DF. It has now grown into a large collection of accompanying mods, including even some metamagic weaponry. The mod is now bundled together with the ModBase utility.

Minerals+

Having also started small, as a mod aiming to fix the long-since-fixed kimberlite issue and rock crystal deficiency, Minerals now encompasses a lot of various rocks and metals never seen before in DF, yet still kept in period with what dwarves would probably be able to get themselves. It now also includes extensions, such as Alchemy, precious gem Infusion, and the old but still useful Manual Stone Selection. This mod is also bundled with ModBase.

Utilties

Mod Base

This handy tool, for both modders and common users, provides a set of functions to better take advantage of DF's moddability.

Its current functions include:

- Easy installing and configuring of program-compatible mods. - Merging program-compatible mods together, without explicit conflicts. - Special syntax for creating complex mods. - Interface for editing DF init settings. - Interface for managing non-graphic tilesets.

It can be downloaded from DF File Depot.

Its discussion topic is here.
