:Odd - that's more than the reported results for a {{L|goat}} or a {{L|sheep}}, even though badgers are less than a third of the size (15,000 vs. 50,000 cubic cm).  Sure it wasn't a {{L|giant badger}} or {{L|badger man}}?  Of course, a giant badger should've given more, and sentients aren't butcherable... ::Thanks for taking the time to ask for verification.  I did a fresh download/install of Linux version 0.31.25, generated a new world, embarked in neutral benign (calm) surroundings, and hunted more badgers.  Results (above) agree with the first badger sow butchered 3 July.  There were no giant badgers or badger men on the units screen despite checking repeatedly; just some {{L|turkey}}s, {{L|panda}}s, {{L|deer}}, and {{L|black bear}}s.  Each time, I locked the butcher in a room and verified nothing else was in it except the butcher shop and a badger sow corpse.  No mods have ever been made to the game.--[[User:Triggs|Triggs]] 07:21, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Odd - that's more than the reported results for a Template:L or a Template:L, even though badgers are less than a third of the size (15,000 vs. 50,000 cubic cm). Thanks for taking the time to ask for verification. I did a fresh download/install of Linux version 0.31.25, generated a new world, embarked in neutral benign (calm) surroundings, and hunted more badgers. Results (above) agree with the first badger sow butchered 3 July. There were no giant badgers or badger men on the units screen despite checking repeatedly; just some Template:Ls, Template:Ls, Template:L, and Template:Ls. Each time, I locked the butcher in a room and verified nothing else was in it except the butcher shop and a badger sow corpse. No mods have ever been made to the game.--Triggs 07:21, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
