It looks like I wasn't logged in when making the stoneware, earthenware, and porcelain pages redirect to the ceramic industry page. My reasoning behind this change was that those pages would likely remain stubs, the ceramic industry page has the required information nicely laid out, and similar was done for the green glass, clear glass, and crystal glass pages. Hopefully I'm not stepping on anybodies toes doing this. [[User:Vattic|Vattic]] 15:43, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

::Fair point but I had assumed I'd be rolling the pages back to before I made those changes. My lack of experience is showing so I'll wait until I get a reply before rolling back. Sorry for any inconvenience I've caused. To add to what I said [[User_talk:79.66.211.99|here]]: I was looking at the various ceramics from a player's perspective rather than a modder's, which is odd considering how much modding I do, hence the comparison with glass. Explanation for redirects[edit]

Vattic 15:43, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

It may have been more helpful to redirect them to the Ceramic article, which is intended to focus on what the materials are rather than how you make them in large quantities - the same distinction is made with Glass versus Glass industry. --Quietust 15:53, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Fair point but I had assumed I'd be rolling the pages back to before I made those changes. My lack of experience is showing so I'll wait until I get a reply before rolling back. Sorry for any inconvenience I've caused. To add to what I said here: I was looking at the various ceramics from a player's perspective rather than a modder's, which is odd considering how much modding I do, hence the comparison with glass.
