This article is about an older version of DF.

Fine pewter is not a Template:L that can be smelted directly from a single ore but an alloy; it must be smelted at a Template:L with one of the following recipes:

Fine Pewter has a value of 5. This is far more preferable for making object of value than its component parts which all have a value of 2. If you have an abundance of tin this is the best form of pewter to make (but know that Template:L is worth the same, and Template:L even more).
