This article is about an older version of DF.

Little is known about the famed pearl. Its existence is shrouded in myths. The creature definitions for the mussel and oyster indicate that they leave pearls, but dwarves are unable to harvest them. Caravans from other civilizations, however, have been reported to trade crafts made from pearl and items decorated with pearls.

It is currently unknown to what stockpile pearls would go and where they show up in the z-stocks menu.

Some dwarves have a preference for pearls, but it is undetermined how this preference could be satisfied.
