Template:CreatureInfo

Wolves are predators and live in many Template:L. They have more chance to appear in Template:L than in other seasons. Wolves are social Template:L that live in groups. One on one, an armed Template:L will likely win with minor injuries, but if a pack gangs up, the hapless dwarf is in deadly trouble. A lone Template:L can have trouble with wolves; she might spend all of her Template:L on a pack of wolves and then be killed by the survivors after trying to bludgeon them to death with her Template:L. If there are packs of wolves on the map, it may be advisable to team up hunters with trained Template:Ls, or send out military patrols to deal with them instead. Strength in numbers, after all.

In Template:L, wolves are common Template:Lers in random encounters that will occur across the world map. Even a pack of them should be easily dispatched by an inexperienced adventurer, provided he is suitably equipped.
