Verify Cleaning

I see no indication that any of this is true in 40c. No blood, vomit, water, bolts, or ammunition (even not-forbidden) has been cleaned up in my fortress, and every dwarf has had Cleaning toggled on by default from the beginning. Is this old data? --Sev 14:05, 2 September 2008 (EDT)

At least the cleaning of blood and used bolts I can verify for 40d. So probably its still true for vomit and water, too. --Doub 04:30, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
I just watched one of my dwarves clean up used bolts (in 40d) Edenicholas 15:02, 11 October 2008 (EDT)
I've added verify tags to water and vomit. I've also done ammunition since no one's mentioned it specifically. Anyone who's seen their dwarves clean these, please just remove the verify tag and leave a note here. Kirig Stonebeard 09:06, 26 February 2009 (EST)

Seasonal Cleaning

"as above ground areas will clean automatically at the turn of every season. " Can anyone verify this? I thought outside got clean only when it rained?--Kwieland 09:14, 26 February 2009 (EST)

It cleans at the start of the season. I've never seen rain clean up anything. --LegacyCWAL 13:45, 26 February 2009 (EST)
Actually, i've seen rain clean away blood and vomit. And yes, i am sure. I watched a tile with vomit/blood respectively on it and as soon as rain hit it, it went away. --Myroc 14:46, 26 February 2009 (EST)
Ah, that definitely helps. Incidentally, this is an example of why it's impossible to prove a negative - just because I haven't seen it doesn't mean it isn't there =P --LegacyCWAL 15:23, 26 February 2009 (EST)
I'll have to watch that, then. It would make sense to have all the puke trails erased.--Kwieland 16:56, 26 February 2009 (EST)
