Steel is the one of the greatest material for building weapons and supplies, seconded only to adamantine. It is the only material that is resistant to magma, besides adamantine.
Steel can be smelted at a smelter by a dwarf with the furnace operator labor activated.
The recipe for two steel bars are as followed:
- one Template:L Template:L
- one Template:L bar
- one Template:L material
- two Template:L (one fuel for magma smelters)
