This article is about an older version of DF.

Crutch-walker is a skill, usually thought of as in the Healthcare Industry. It cannot be turned off and will be used by any dwarf that needs to use crutches. It is possible to gain experience in this skill in Adventurer Mode by holding a crutch in either hand. As the skill develops, the character moves at speeds closer to their ambulatory movement rate up to Legendary+5 rank, at which movement rate is no longer impaired while a crutch is held.
