MDF: v1.31

A horned herbivore that dwells in underground caverns. It possesses a unique physiology that causes its milk to have a high alcohol content. Boozebelly goats typically have reddish fur with purple tails. Females also have purple legs and ears.

Boozebelly Goats can be purchased at Embark for 41 points, from a Dwarven Caravan for a base value of 80, waiting for a mating pair to generate one, or by capturing them in the wild.

They can be milked for an alcoholic drink that can also be made into cheese.

Useful Tips[edit]

Boozebelly Goats require a pasture to survive. A 3x3 grid on grassy or mossy tiles is sufficient to maintain them indefinitely.

You should not rely on them to sustain your entire food and drink supply. They are too expensive at embark for that, and do not produce enough milk fast enough.
