Since this is a month of the Dwarven calendar as well as a gem, should it have its own stub? For each of the other months, a separate page existed. This includes Moonstone, which is also a gem. To be fair, the Moonstone page is pretty sparse. I'm still too new to know when to create a page and when a convention says not to. --Hikus 16:57, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- This is a tough call because "Opal" is not a specific gem (which would warrant its own page) but a family of gems. An "Opal" page would contain only a list of opals, and the reference to the dwarven calendar. This is probably why a seperate page has not yet been created for it.--208.81.12.34 18:57, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
- 40d already had an "Opal" page which simply listed all of the types of opals and mentioned the calendar month association. Since said information is exactly the same (I was the one who verified all of the gems on Gem), I've copied the page over and reorganized it slightly. --Quietust 23:29, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
