This article is about an older version of DF.

Royal jelly is a product collected from a hive. Royal jelly can be used in cooking prepared meals or consumed as is (counts as food, not drink).

Hives with a colony of honey bees and toggled to "gather any products" can be harvested as part of the beekeeping industry. In order to collect the royal jelly, you must have a dwarf with the beekeeping labor active and empty jugs. A honeycomb is produced as a by product.

It along with honey are the edible products of bees.

Bugs

  • Jugs of Royal Jelly may be stored in bins as finished goods, preventing its use in the food industry.
  • Collecting royal jelly may require more then 1 jug in storage to begin.
