Plant fiber refers to the fibers created from harvested Rope reed, Pig tail, Hemp, Cotton, Ramie, Flax, Jute and Kenaf.
A dwarf with the thresher labor enabled can process those plants into thread at a farmer's workshop with the "Process Plants" job order.
