This predatory creature usually appears in single units, and mostly in dense wooded areas. Cold (but not freezing) areas seem to help these creatures out of their lairs. They can be extremely aggressive, and will hone in on your fortress and run down one of your lone herbalists or woodcutters. However, a decently skilled wrestler, or 2 unskilled conscripts, quickly tear the clueless werewolf to pieces.
