This page is to discuss and implement (which I don't know how to do) adding the raws of the relevant creature to the pages of their respective Animal Man. – unsigned comment by Fundeath712
- Are you referring to the animal men added in 0.42.04? Toad man looks okay to me, and it was added in 0.42.04, so if you could point out some that are missing raws, that would be helpful. —Lethosor (talk) 14:55, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
- All animal people poses a tag similar to "[COPY_TAGS_FROM:TOAD]" where many of their creature characteristics are copied from another creature. It would be useful to have these base creature's raws added to their AnimalMan variants page.--Fundeath712 (talk) 07:20, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- You can already see the base + animal man raws in each race's specific raw page (e.g. Toad man/raw). The way they're shown in their articles is exactly how they're written in the game files and should be kept that way. OluapPlayer (talk) 14:17, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- I agree, but it would be much more convenient to have the raws as per Toad man/raw show up as well as the raws that currently do. As long as theyre added with the same sort of spoiler format it shouldn't be very invasive. It's just that the raws that are currently shown leave out a lot of the important information about the creature such that you would need to open multiple pages for the relevant tags. --Fundeath712 (talk) 20:11, 11 March 2017 (UTC)
- On the other hand, which traits from the base animal are carried over depends upon the instructions in the c_variation file. Providing the base animal info might give the impression that all the traits of the base animal are relevant to the variation-creature. Also, oh hai conversation from more than a year ago. --Button (talk) 22:37, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
