This article is about an older version of DF. |
A Deity is the object of worship chosen by a creature.
Deities differ among races.
- Dwarves worship multiple deities that are often depicted as a Dwarf. Dwarves may also on occasion worship a deity that is depicted in the forms of animals or vermin.
- Humans also worship multiple deities.
- Elves do not worship a deity, but believe in (aspects of) a single force that permeates the forests.
- Goblins worship some other creatures.
In Adventurer mode, if you speak to a High Priest and offer your service, you will be able to speak to the deity from any location, though the deity will not respond.
