Foxes are a standard type of critter found in a small variety of climates and geographical locations, although they are most likely to be found in woodland. Dwarves admire them for their cunning. They are weak creatures and can easily be overcome and killed even by non-wrestling dwarves. Hunters will have no problems tackling them and so can be a useful source of food, bones and training early on in the game.
