The black-handed gibbon is a small monkey, in most ways identical to the black-crested gibbons and black-handed gibbons, all of which appear in very small groups. Altho' usually an untrained recruit can take one by themselves, combat is never certain, and it's possible for a lucky gibbon to kill a dwarf or dog.
Unlike the similar sized rhesus macaques, they are not thieves.
