Potash maker is a skill associated with the potash making labor. Potash makers make potash out of either ash or lye at an ashery, which can then be used to fertilize crops. Higher skill level affects only production speed. They are associated with being useless; when referring to expendable peons players will often call them Urist McPotashmaker.
