Cave wheat is an underground crop. It can either be milled into dwarven wheat flour or brewed into dwarven beer.

Cave wheat seeds can be brought as an embark item and imported from dwarven caravans. They are planted in the summer or autumn seasons, and require about 42 days to grow.

Some dwarves like cave wheat for its stalks.
