Rock salt is a sedimentary stone. It can contain clusters of sylvite and borax.
This article or section has been rated D for Dwarf. It may include witty humour, not-so-witty humour, bad humour, in-jokes, pop culture references, and references to the Bay12 forums. Don't believe everything you read, and if you miss some of the references, don't worry. It was inevitable. |
Rock salt can also form during tantrums, especially after losing.
In real life
Rock salt, known officially as halite, is the mineral form of sodium chloride (NaCl). It is found as isometric crystals of a colorless or white appearance. Large deposits of it are found near lakes and seas.
