Farmer is one of the Professions. It contains skills relating to the production of food through animals and plants, and the processing of animal and plant byproducts. It also contains skills relating to the production of ash and its byproducts.
An adult dwarf whose best skill is in the farming category, and who also has accumulated enough experience in one or more other farming skills (exactly how much is not clear) will be known as a Farmer. Otherwise the profession of the dwarf will be based on his or her highest single farming skill.
