Rope reeds are almost identical to Template:Ls, but grow more slowly (by 3:5). They are the only surface Template:L usable for the production of Template:L. They also make an average value Template:L when Template:L into Template:L. You may be able to collect them by Template:L near a Template:L or Template:L, and you might also be able to trade for the plants or seeds from a (non-dwarven) caravan, especially an elvish one.
