("Zinc and copper both have a material value of 2. Brass has a value of 7, resulting in a value increase of 250% That is wrong, it is an innrease of 75% or 175% of what you already had.)
(you start with two bars of value 2 (copper and zinc) and end up with 2 bars of value 7 (brass and brass) - that's a 250% increase in value)
