The diagnostician skill is used in the Template:L Industry, with the corresponding Template:L diagnosis. It is used in deciding how a dwarf is hurt and how to fix him. A Chief Medical Dwarf with at least Novice Diagnostician skill will allow the player to see the hunger and thirst status of each creature in the fortress via the health screen.
