err.. a "troll architect" just showed up in a seige. closely followed by troll weaver and miner. I assume this is part of trolls now being civilisation-able. I am kind of worried if the miner is gonna dig me out though Cpad 01:04, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Every troll that came with the goblins had professions, the funny thing is that none of them were warrios. Beware though - the woodcutters, miners and hunters bring weapons! - 187.20.115.116 01:24, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

I suspect that while the trolls are intelligent enough to pick up professions, forming their own military is a thing that surpasses them, so they simply tag along with the goblins (for the time being, at least). --Bronzebeard 01:51, 13 May 2010 (UTC)

I can out-funny you guys. I got, not only a troll Diagnoser (I suppose for medical support?) and a troll Weaver (to make the goblins nice body bags), but a troll Administrator. It's not a good siege unless the bureaucrats are running it, right? --Waladil 09:01, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

A troll "visiting" me during a siege was acting rather peculiarly near a deer. During their retreat, he tended to back away from a deer, even if it meant moving further away from the edge of the map. Maybe it did it because trolls are now civilized-ish? Someone confirm? Any wild animal obviously... doesn't need to be deer. Also, "professionless" trolls (trolls with no job, named appear grey) during sieges seem to be listed in the units list separate from other trolls. P.S. I hate seeing trolls of professions I want dwarves of. --Peglegpenguin 04:33, 12 August 2010 (UTC)

Ah they can swim, or at least they won't drown. One of them was trying to wreck up a bridge that is part of a water trap, did it up and flooded the area and he's still alive, won't drown. --96.51.253.122 03:48, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

Anyone know how to generate a world where Trolls are? I finally got lucky and figured they be in all the worlds now. Alas, I've not seen another in the 20+ worlds I've generated. I believe they have to be in the world and the goblins have to have access to them. At least, that is how riding animals work, I think.
Trolls never show up in the civilization list because they don't form civilizations - the only way to find out if your goblins have access to them is to wait long enough for them to siege you - trolls live in underground caverns, so goblins typically have access to them. --Quietust 05:07, 7 September 2010 (UTC)
