Military Tactics is a military skill first introduced in 0.31.14. Presumably, this skill relates to choices made during combat, and is valuable for survival. However, players have collected too little information about this skill to know for sure. Indeed, it is not clear even how to train this skill. It is also known that some migrants arrive with this skill at a somewhat developed level. Also when recuriting/drafting dwarfs into a military squad it doesnt matter that they have the military tactics skill developed, this doesnt seems to count as a active skill for recruitment in the military squads screen, so this skill its mostly existant but not trainable/used in the game, for now...
