Orc Fortress Items[edit]

Coins[edit]

Coins are used for a variety of jobs, notably using rusty iron coins to pay your crews at the Raiders drydock.

Some Orcish clans also choose to expand their economy by developing a Caravanserai. Bazaars can only be opened by licensed traders, so the first step is to send your Raiders out to pirate the shipping lanes until they steal some merchant licenses. Exchanging unwanted goods for coins at the Caravanserai, and then spend these coins on some valuable supplies like potash, bronze bars, or anvils. The prices are fairly high compared to the price of selling crafts at the normal travelling caravans, but it's very convenient.

Restricted goods like weapons, foreign toolkits, and orichalcum bars can be bought using Shadowbrokers' platinum ducats.

Coins of any denomination can also be minted, although, whether it is worth the fuel and labor cost to do this may depend on the situation. It is advised to store coins in a stockpile with no bins to avoid confusion among the haulers.
