Template:CreatureInfo

This article is about an older version of DF.
A giant desert scorpion doing what it knows best.

The giant desert scorpion is a high-Template:L creature commonly found in Template:Ls and although they aren't found in large numbers they are dangerous combatants.

  • They are capable of using a paralyzing poison.
  • They cannot be stunned because they feel no pain.
  • They have excellent vision so ambushing them is difficult[Verify].

However only their tail is poisonous and they don't attack with it often, needing to latch on to their prey with their pincers first.

When Template:Led they will leave no Template:Ls or Template:L, and the "Template:L" they will leave is called Template:L, but can be processed the same as any Template:L.

Some frustrated scorpions have been reported to be invading fortresses to destroy Template:Len constructs and their [BUILDINGDESTROYER:1] supports this claim. Due to the relative scarcity of wood in their Template:L they often end up going well out of their way to find wooden Template:Ls to rip up; Template:Ls have proven to be a popular, er, target.
