This article is about an older version of DF. |
Silver is a mid-value metal which is useful for decorations, furniture and other objects. Silver can be used to produce weapons and bolts; its high density enhances the performance of bludgeoning weapons such as maces, mauls, and war hammers. However, a low shear strength means silver-made edged weapons such as spears or swords are quite terrible compared to any other weapons-grade metal.
Silver is also a component of some alloys, specifically billon and electrum.
