Shearer is the skill associated with the shearing labor. Shearers shear the wool from creatures in a farmer's workshop. There are a handful of animals that can be sheared in-game, including sheep, llamas, alpacas, and trolls (although trolls can't be tamed and as such, can only be sheared by goblins). Shearable animals have [YARN] token under [SELECT_MATERIAL:HAIR] section of their RAWs. Wool can be spun into yarn, which in turn can be used to make cloth at a loom.
