This article is about an older version of DF. |
Clothier is the skill associated with the clothesmaking labor. Clothiers make plant fiber and silk clothing items at the clothier's shop, and can sew plant fiber images and silk images onto items.
Clothier skill level is used to determine the quality of the created good. The quality of the cloth and dye used adds to the value of the final product.
Clothiers also make plant fiber and silk crafts at the craftsdwarf's workshop.
Bugs
- There is a rare clothier-specific bug where having large burrows (such as covering your entire fortress to get your civilians inside during a siege) may cause your clothiers to continuously cancel their jobs claiming lack of cloth, even if you have plenty. Deleting your burrows corrects the problem.
