Archery targets are used to create Archery Ranges, which are used to train Template:L. They can be built from Template:L, which requires Template:L; Template:L or Template:L, which requires Template:L; or Template:L, which requires Template:L. They can also be built from Template:L made from the above materials.
Making an Archery Range
To make an Archery Range,
- query the constructed archery target and make a room
- Set the size with +/-
- Set the shooting direction with wasd
- Assign the range to the desired Template:L, who can then be set to sleep or train there individually or in groups, much like a Template:L.
The Template:L can then be used by Template:L dwarves to train ranged Template:L Template:L. Since Template:L/Template:L are being used up by this training, it is a good idea to Template:L the dwarves to only use Template:L or Template:L bolts/arrows when training.
Notes
- The range must be at least 3 tiles wide in the shooting direction, so that the marksdwarf has somewhere to stand without being adjacent to the target.
