Dormitories are a type of multiple-bed Template:L, similar to the Template:L. Instead of hosting the military, dormitories host civilians[Verify]. It is designated from the Template:L, obviously.
To create a dormitory, press q, highlight a bed, press r, then -/+ until you have the size you want. Then press d.
Dormitories are a new type of room as of version 0.31.01. Prior to this, the same functionality was fulfilled by the barracks room.
