Farmer is a category profession. It contains skills relating to the production of food through animals and plants, and the processing of animal and plant byproducts. It also contains skills relating to the production of ash and its byproducts.
An adult dwarf whose best skill is in this category and who has at least one other skill in this category whose level is more than half the level of the highest skill will be known as a "Farmer", otherwise they will be known by the highest skill alone.
For example, a dwarf who is a Talented (6) Brewer and a Competent (3) Tanner will be known as a Brewer but will become a "Farmer" once Tanner reaches Skilled (4).
