The feather tree is a special Template:L that grows only in Template:L aligned areas. It also requires that the area be Template:L and warmer than Template:L. Unlike other Template:L trees, it yields cream colored logs when cut down.
It is also the lightest wood in the game, so it should be used for things that get hauled around very frequently (and probably should not be used to make ballista bolts).
Beware the Template:Ls that roam around it, or simply import it from Template:L Template:L.
