This article is about an older version of DF.

A floor is any Template:L that a Template:L can walk upon. A floor is formed:

  1. naturally, as in the ground like Template:L, Template:L, or Template:L,
  2. by constructing Template:Ls, thereby creating a floor on the level above, or
  3. by Template:L.

Though it is possible to have a floor with an empty tile below it, all wall tiles must have a floor above them.
