Chrysocolla is a low value gem found inside veins of malachite.
In Real Life
Chrysocolla is a form of hydrated copper silicate ((Cu,Al)2H2Si2O5(OH)4·nH2O) that forms from preexisting copper deposits; it is known to form alongside malachite and azurite (which is not present in Dwarf Fortress).
