For information on creating Mods, see the Modding guide. For a list of modding-related pages, see Category:Modding.

A Mod, short for "Modification", refers to the modification of Dwarf Fortress' files (or, indeed, the files of any other game) to change some element of gameplay, usually by a third-party developer or the end user.

This category is for enhancements and changes that are ready to be used as-is.
