This article is about an older version of DF.

The quarry bush is one of the six known Template:L Template:Ls, and as such it may only be grown Template:L. They can be Template:L in Template:L, Template:L and Template:L.

Quarry bush Template:L are known as rock nuts. Unlike the seeds of other plants, they can be Template:L.

Quarry bushes may be Template:L at a Template:L into Template:L of quarry bush leaves, which then must be Template:L at the Template:L to be edible. You will need an empty bag to be available for this task.

Processing quarry bushes at a Template:L requires one Template:L, and will produce 5 quarry bush leaves (and one rock nut) for every plant in a given stack of quarry bushes. Quarry bush leaves will be removed from their bag if taken for cooking while still in a farmer's workshop.

Template:Ling quarry bush leaves can result in very large stacks of Prepared Food, thus saving space and Template:L. In a fortress that relies on selling large expensive stacks of Prepared Food, quarry bush leaves are great filler: a lavish meal made from Template:L and Template:L with two stacks of quarry bush leaves for filler is worth almost ten times more than an easy meal made from wine and cheese alone.

Quarry bushes cannot be Template:L into Template:L.

Rock nuts can also be milled at a millstone or quern into Rock Nut Paste. This paste can then be used in cooking, or pressed at a Template:L into a Rock Nut Press Cake and a jug of Rock Nut Oil.

Both the Rock Nut Paste and Rock Nut Press Cake are cookable and considered a single food category, referred to as "Rock Nut" in the Template:L (not to be confused with "Rock Nuts", the entry for the seeds), the Stocks screen compacted view, and Prepared meal descriptions.

The Rock Nut Oil is cookable, or can be used in place of tallow to make Template:L.
