This article is about an older version of DF.

Antmen (half man, half ant) are predatory and can attack from the chasm if disturbed. Any military dwarf can deal with one or two, but since they tend to attack in groups, it's advisable to sport a decently-sized military when engaging. When injured, they bleed white ichor.

Despite their name, all antmen are female. Also, despite being insectoid, their corpses will rot to yield bones and a skull.
