A milker is a dwarf that will Template:L Template:Ls in a Template:L. For older versionsv0.28.181.40d, the only milkable creatures are Template:Ls (to milk something it has to be carryable, and the only milkable thing you can carry is a purring maggot), though Template:Ls seem to milk other creatures off-screen (and Template:L the milk with you).
Unless you embark on a suitable Template:L, milkers tend to be only as useful as Template:Ls. Suggested tasks include:
- Military
- Stone hauler
- Any other task almost
