Slabs are buildings which can be built from the build menu under Alt+slab. They can be made using one Template:L at the Template:L.
The significance of slabs in Fortress mode is not yet known - in Template:L, however, they are used for the placement of signs for stores.
You can create a Template:L from a slab's query menu. Unlike Template:Ls, slabs do not block movement.
