This article is about an older version of DF.

A table is a piece of furniture necessary for dwarves to eat food in comfort. They can be made from a wide variety of materials, including wood, stone, metal, and glass. Tables can be used to define a dining room. Dwarves dislike eating at a table without a chair and also prefer not to share a table with others. Tables can only be placed indoors, so you can forget that roof-top dining room.

Metal tables require 3 bars, while tables made of stone, wood, and glass require only 1 building material.
